About Erin

Erin is an accredited wine professional and past wine executive with a tremendous passion for wine. Her formal education comes from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (W.S.E.T) headquartered in the UK and the world’s largest provider of wine education and but her years in the business and world-wide wine travel have fine tuned that knowledge.

Erin was often asked for wine advice by friends but the idea for The Wine Coach was born when the President of a large Canadian company asked Erin to increase the basic wine knowledge of her top female executives and to help them gain confidence with wine in a business setting. I liken this to the way many of us see golf – we don’t need to be an expert but want to be able to hold our own on a golf course with business colleagues.

Before the idea was formalized, Erin was getting asked by other large companies to do the same as word of mouth spread quickly. The Wine Coach was born and Erin is happily educating executives, teams and groups of friends all interested in learning more about wine in a friendly, inclusive environment.
